Built in 1883 and completed in 1889, the Bentley-Wheeler B & B (MAIN HOUSE) offers a variety of options during your stay in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

For a truly remarkable experience, you could stay in the Third Floor Ballroom Suite. As one of the few remaining and in-tact ballroom spaces in Wisconsin homes, this large space (over 2,500 square feet) offers many unique facets. Stay in the original maid's bedroom, directly adjacent to a large living space, private bathroom and kitchen. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of the two balconies that overlook the city and the bluffs. $175.00 per night, plus applicable taxes (2 persons). Prices subject to change based on peak/high demand occasions (i.e., Oktoberfest, WIAA State Track Meet, Riverfest, etc).

If you do not need the space and seclusion of the Ballroom Suite, try the second floor Guest Suite (click here to see images) of the main house; large bedroom, sitting room, back porch overlooking the garden in spring, summer and fall  and private bath. $135.00 per night, plus applicable taxes (2 persons). Prices subject to change based on peak/high demand occasions (i.e., Oktoberfest, WIAA State Track Meet, Riverfest, etc).

For guests of both the Ballroom Suite and the second floor Guest Suite, feel free to enjoy the rest of the space of the main house by reading a book in the library, or play the baby grand piano in the living room. Perhaps coffee on the large front porch is more your style so that you can watch the comings and goings of our quaint La Crosse community in spring, summer or fall.

Guests can look forward to a breakfast amenity basket, which includes fresh scones and/or muffins, yogurt, cereal, milk, juice and fresh fruit. Additionally, guest amenities include free wireless, high speed internet access, cable television, free local calling and  ironing board/iron.  The entire Bentley-Wheeler is fully air conditioned.
